Covid-19

We’re very excited to finally see everyone again from June 29th. Here are some of our plans & procedures.

During the initial stages we plan to maintain 2M distancing between tables.  We want to give every comfort & confidence to our customers that it is safe to dine with us. We will follow guidelines issued by Failte Ireland and all of are staff are receiving training on covid-19.

There is a one way entrance and exit system in place. We have removed all bar stools for the moment. we’ve implemented a queueing system for icecreams outside. Lots of hand sanitiser. And a regular cleaning schedule. As we go forward into the summer, and following advice from health officials we may reintroduce more tables again to 1M.

Customers will have to remain seated except to use the toilet. We’ll deliver drinks to your table.

Tables will have to be booked ahead. It’s filling up fast so we’d recommend booking soon. If we do introduce more tables going forward then some more space may open up.

Our outside tables will be available for takeaway menu only. Customers sitting outside will have to order and pay for food and drinks online. we’ll deliver them out.  People sitting outside still have to following distancing and time limit guidelines. A Meal has to be purchased with drinks until pubs are allowed to reopen properly (hopefully July 20th)

For those who can’t get a table we hope to keep our hot takeaway service going and also plan to introduce an order-ahead menu for salads etc.

Please bear with us during these crazy times. We look forward to having the buzz and craic back in Spillane’s, we just have to do it ‘at a distance’ for now.
