Spillanes Bar is located on the Maharees, a liitle sand-spit jutting out into Brandon Bay on the north side of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. The local parish is known as Castlegregory.

From Tralee, follow signs for Dingle(Daingean) N81. Where the road forks at Camp(after about 12 miles), don’t take the left for Dingle but continue straight on to Castlegregory. (Don’t miss the right turn for Castlegregory at the Grotto a few miles further on.) The road runs straight through the village. From there follow signs for Fahamore(4 miles) straight all the way. Spillanes is situated on the righthand side across the road from the beach..
